Frozen Free Fall is a Match 3 game based on the Disney Animation Studios movie, for Android, iOS and Amazon.

General

As a Level designer I have designed an important amount of different levels, also I have been involved in the new mechanics design process.

What I’ve done

• More than 400 levels designed and balanced
• Over 20 different mechanics designed and tested
• Different power-ups designed
• Event and Live Ops balancing
• Design of the new FTUE for the game

Personal Experience

Frozen has taught me a lot. A match 3 game can be easy in its core mechanics, however, the process to generate new levels and ideas that remain engaging and fun after so many time is no easy. I’ve learn how deep this genre is if you keep demanding of yourself as high level of quality and hard work as Frozen Free Fall team do every day.

I’ve also learn how to think from the perspective of my players, who are not the same type of player as I am, and how to pace fun and difficulty in order to keep the balance between retain our players and get money from a Free to Play game.
